Online registrations for the Commerce Olympiad being organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will close on 28 Nov 2023. The Olympiad, for students of Class 8 to 12 (and also those studying in UG courses). Is to be conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Top performers will get merit certificate and attractive prizes.

About ICAI: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament for regulation and development of the profession of Chartered Accountants in the country. The Institute, functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The ICAI is the largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world, with a strong tradition of service to the Indian economy in public interest.

Objectives of Commerce Olympiad

This Olympiad has multiple objectives – exposing students to competitive world, assessing their skills / aptitude / abilities / knowledge, identifying talent and providing financial assistance to meritorious students in order to motivate them to achieve excellence.

Levels of Olympiad

Level 1: Students of class VIII

Level 2: Students of class IX

Level 3: Students of class X

Level 4: Students of class XI

Level 5: Students of class XII

Level 6: Students of Graduation

Test Details

a) Online

b) 60 minute duration

c) 100 multiple choice questions (25 in each subject)

d) Subjects for Level 1,2,3 are Social Studies, Mathematics, Business Awareness, Aptitude.

Subjects for Level 4,5,6 are Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Aptitude.

e) Mock test will be conducted on 1 Dec 2023 (4pm to 7pm).
